Hillsound continues support for North Shore Rescue

Luckily, the Vancouver community is fortunate enough to have the talented and experienced folk over at North Shore Rescue (NSR) to help us out of a tight fix in our local parks and mountains.

Over the last 50 years that NSR has been operating, they have been involved in over 2,500 search and rescue operations. As well as urban and mountain search and rescue, the NSR are also involved in Helicoptor Flight Rescue Services, police evidence searches, educational programs, civil emergency response and Grouse Grind rescue. Needless to say, the volunteer members of the NSR are an invaluable part of our community.

Hillsound recognizes the hard work NSR does to educate the public and provide rescue services to those in need. This is why we’re renewing our sponsorship of this vital organisation.  The extreme conditions in which some of these operations take place requires high-quality gear that the team can rely on. The NSR team love our Trail Crampons for working on slippery slopes and in winter when the trails get icy. You can read more on the Hillsound Trail Crampons here.

You can check out more information on North Shore Rescue operations on their website.
