Super Armadillo Nano is a top-of-the-line gaiter with a thermoregulation and self-cleaning feature embedded in the upper section. The material adjusts to your temperature - keeps you warm or cools you off as needed and no water or dirt gets absorbed by the material. The upper section is paired with a lower section which is abrasion and slash / puncture resistant. Both sections are waterproof and breathable to keep you dry from the outside in and inside out. No snow, slush, rain, mud, scree, rocks, debris and dust are able to get into your boots or socks with these on and they also save your lower legs from brushy conditions. This is the choice for mountaineering, backpacking and hunting.

These gaiters are built to last and covered by a limited lifetime warranty.

Patented in U.S & Korea

  • Thermoregulation: Adjusts to your body temperature, keeps you warm or cools you off as needed
  • Self-cleaning: No water or dirt gets absorbed by the material. Drops roll off or can be rinsed off with water
  • Abrasion, slash / puncture resistant (lower cuff): No bush, ice, rock will cut through the material when hiking / bushwhacking, climbing or falling
  • Waterproof (up to 20 000 mm): DWR finish, which gives the fabric face a water resistant finish. Waterproof YKK zipper
  • Highly breathable & stretchy upper section: 3-layer breathable Schoeller fabric. Fits the form of the leg so there is no loose fabric, this also makes them relatively quiet
  • Zip from top down: Fast to put on / take off and adjust
  • Webbing and cam buckle top closure: Ensures the gaiter stays in place when you move around
  • Replaceable instep strap: TPU-coated nylon instep strap will endure many miles on the trail and can be replaced if needed
  • Secure hook: Upward facing hook that stays in place once attached to boot laces
  • Covered zipper: Velcro strap to tuck zipper away
  • Unisex

      Great fit and good gaiter

Love the fit on these. They're snug (without being constricting), stay up easily, and I still have dry socks after a weekend in the mountains!
The only thing I will say it that it can be finicky to connect the zipper when wearing gloves, but aside from that getting them on and off is a cinch.
Great design! Just remember to size appropriately if you're putting them on heavier mountaineering style boots vs hiking shoes.

Calf circumference should be 2"-3" Larger

I love everything about these gaiters except the room in the calf muscle area. I am almost 6 feet tall & even naked, I cannot get them to wrap around my calf, let alone zip them up. With mountaineering boots and pants, I would like the XL size to give 2-3 extra inches......then we are all good to go. Thanks for listening. ;)

      Ideal Mountain Gaiter

Waterproof, breathable, comfortable, durable and they stay put. Not to mention extremely abrasion and puncture resistant. Great gaiter.

I have worn many gaiters over 15 years of mountaineering from Bolivia to Alaska & Iceland, I have never worn a more tailor made comfortable gaiter. I especially like how easy they are to put on & take off, this is a big deal when you are really tired from a long day on the trail or at altitude. A virtually bombproof design!

Been using these for 2 years now, they are alright but far from amazing. The buckles failed quickly. The zipper is a royal pain as it constantly gets snagged on the insulated draft guard, until I cut them out. Not even sure why the zipper needs a draft guard, never heard anybody complain about a cold shin? I purchased a set of XL gaiters, they are very snug around the calves, compared to my friends size Large, it seems the XL sizing only applies to the boot area.
