The Yukon Arctic Ultra is an annual series of multi-day races that start in Whitehorse, Yukon. This year’s event will take place January 30th – February 7th.  In 2014, racers can choose from a marathon, 100-, or 300-mile race (a 430-mile race option will be available again in 2015), all of which follow the course of the legendary Yukon Quest dog sled race. The longer distances offer three disciplines: mountain biking, Nordic skiing, or running. With temperatures sometimes dropping as low as -50 degrees Fahrenheit, challenging terrain, and the non-stop nature of the race, the Yukon Arctic Ultra has been coined the toughest of its kind in the world.

“The Yukon Arctic Ultra is much more than just a sponsorship opportunity,” said Sales and Marketing Director, Jess Greinke. “To us here at Hillsound, it represents the precipice of outdoor adventure, athleticism, and that small but elemental level of crazy that has driven the world’s most notable adventure seekers. We’re proud and excited to be a part of it.”
