I own some very good, very portable, hiking products from Nemo, Helinox, and of course , The Walkstool which is only slightly more comfortable but not as nearly as easy to carry. The BTR stool is the best stool for me because it is a stool that I carry when I might not need a stool. Like carrying a great little camera it is just there if you need and want it. It makes for a great walk.
Hey Daniel! Thanks for taking the time to leave us a great review on your BTR Stool. We're glad to know that you've got the BTR with you on most of your adventures, just in case you need it!
The stools were used in "player packs" for junior players in our tournament, and from all accounts they were very well received! Very light and compact. Thanks again for the support!
Hi Dennis, we're so happy to hear that the BTR Stool was well received at your tournament!
I have 2, the 14 & 17inch stools and I love them both!
I have been hiking the Bruce trail in all 4 seasons and the BTR has been my saviour for our lunch breaks.. it’s compact easy to open and put away.. I can’t imagine anyone having an issue with it!!
Love love love it !!!
Hi Annette, thanks so much for your great review! We are so pleased that our BTR Stool has been a handy tool on so many of your adventures! You will be happy to know that we've just launched the 3rd variation! The 20' BTR! Happy trails.
I bought the 17" stool so my elderly mom could perch on something when we go on an outing and I go to collect the car. She hasn't tried it yet because it's a mother's day present, but I'm a little wary because the stool moves from side to side when you shift your weight. I'm hoping it will be a good solution!
Hi Joyce, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! As a good standard of practice, always make sure that each leg is completely locked in place and set up on even ground. Put a little pressure on the seat as well to test the legs before having your mother sit down. I'm sure she'll love it!
The stool worked great for two outings then the center piece snapped on the third outing.
I have cheaper stools that are 20 years old, heavier yes but still functioning.
17" model
