How to set up your BTR Stool:

    • Locate the plastic hook near the top of the stool and release the elastic cord

    • Twist open the legs, place the stool on solid ground, and take a seat!

    Great Product!!

    I have 2, the 14 & 17inch stools and I love them both!
I have been hiking the Bruce trail in all 4 seasons and the BTR has been my saviour for our lunch breaks.. it’s compact easy to open and put away.. I can’t imagine anyone having an issue with it!!

    Love love love it !!!

Hi Annette, thanks so much for your great review! We are so pleased that our BTR Stool has been a handy tool on so many of your adventures! You will be happy to know that we've just launched the 3rd variation! The 20' BTR! Happy trails.

Perfect size and weight but wiggles more than I expected

I bought the 17" stool so my elderly mom could perch on something when we go on an outing and I go to collect the car. She hasn't tried it yet because it's a mother's day present, but I'm a little wary because the stool moves from side to side when you shift your weight. I'm hoping it will be a good solution!

Hi Joyce, thanks for taking the time to leave us a review! As a good standard of practice, always make sure that each leg is completely locked in place and set up on even ground. Put a little pressure on the seat as well to test the legs before having your mother sit down. I'm sure she'll love it!

    Broke third outing

The stool worked great for two outings then the center piece snapped on the third outing.

I have cheaper stools that are 20 years old, heavier yes but still functioning.

    17" model

Hi Chris, I am so sorry to hear about your BTR Stool and for any trouble this has caused you. It sounds like you may have received a faulty unit. We have reached out to you via email to try to help out.

    Disappointed

Purchased this stool less than 1 yr ago, I use it from time to time fishing, not abused at all, one leg is pulled out of the joint, and won't lock in place anymore, now I have a 2-legged stool, Quality product?.........think not.

Hasn’t stood the test of time

I bought this for backpacking. In 3ish years I’ve only taken it out 4 times. It is stored indoors otherwise. I was dismayed my most recent trip to have a couple of things happen. First, one of the legs separated at the joint which cannot be pushed all the way back in. Another leg sometimes retracts unexpectedly. Then, I fell over because one of the end caps for the mesh seat popped out.
Despite these issues, the stool is technically still functional, but if I had any idea it would literally fall apart with such little use, I would have looked into different options. The cost and quality are badly misaligned.
